American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) is the premier professional group for aeronautics or astronautics.  The annual SmallSat Conference (image below captured from their home page) is sponsored by AIAA, provided here as an example of where Space systems engineers and operators collaborate.

American Astronautical Society (AAS) is the premier independent scientific and technical group in the United States exclusively dedicated to the advancement of space science and exploration.

The Planetary Society was founded in 1980 to encourage the exploration of space and search for extraterrestrial life.

National Space Society promotes change to bring about the day humans live and work in space.

National Space Society’s Space Ambassadors Program with Virgin Galactic will communicate the value of space research and exploration to their local communities, and one Space Ambassador will be selected to fly on a Virgin Galactic space flight!
